To provide an accurate quote, we need to meet with you on site, discuss with you exactly what YOU want and then come back to you with a fixed quote in writing.
We don’t quote over the phone. It’s impossible to assess your site conditions and what it is what you want in your new pool, without seeing the site and talking to you. We think any company that’s prepared to give you a price over the phone, isn’t serious about your project, and that you can expect that price to change when the project starts.
As a family business, our pricing is always VERY COMPETITIVE, as our overheads and margins are low. As in any industry, there are companies that rely on being the absolute cheapest price to get business. But remember, you are investing a significant amount of money, and when you buy a Freestyle Pool, you deal only with the builder from quoting to completion, we don’t cut any corners and what we build will last your family a very long time.
--- > Getting underway with the Queensland Master Builder's Contract
Once you’re happy with the quote and other information that we have provided, the next step is to detail everything in the pool contract. We use only the Qld Master Builders Pool Contract. This documents all aspects of the pool construction process and clearly outlines all the financial aspects of the agreement. Importantly, the Master Builders contract protects your interests as you are not required to pay for any work until the stage is completed (except for the 5% deposit). It has 6 clearly defined work stages, none of which is to be paid for until completion.
--- > Council Certification/Approval
We will take care of all council approval and engineering for you. As soon as we have completed the Master Builders contract, we will immediately lodge all the required documents to have the pool approved, which normally takes about 2 weeks. We will need your Lot and RP numbers, which are on your rates notice, and if you have a copy of your house site plan, this is also helpful (not essential).
--- > Getting your swimming pool in the ground
Once we have received council approval, we’re ready to get your pool in the ground. Prior to excavation, we will meet with you on site, to mark out the pool and ensure that you’re happy with the positioning and the dimensions of the pool. Once this is confirmed, we’re ready to dig.

--- > Filtration
Generally, we will organise to install your external pool plumbing, lighting and filtration during the period in which your pool is curing. Obviously, we will discuss with you, prior to excavation, where you want your filtration point to be, and install the required pipework to that point.
--- > Tiling and Finishes
After the required curing period, the next steps are to lay the pool coping tile (the tile on top of the pool), and if you chose one, an internal waterline tileband. Both these jobs are highly specialised and require that the tilers bed and render the required areas to ensure a perfectly level surface.
Obviously water will always find the perfect level, and errors in the pool tiling will be very easy to see. Our tiling crews specialise in pool tiling, from fully tiled, right through to coping and ensure the highest quality finish.

--- > Internal Pebbling/ Finishes
Due to the nature of the Pool Fencing laws, it is necessary that your pool fencing is in place before your pool’s interior finish is in place. On the day after the interior pebble is installed in your pool, the pebble crew will acid wash the surface. Once this is completed, you should commence filling the pool.We will organise the inspection of your pool fence to ensure it meets the required standards, prior to the pebbling of the pool. This inspection fee is included as part of your certification fee. Remember your resuscitation sign must be displayed in the pool enclosure, for your pool to pass inspection.
--- > When your swimming pool is full:
Once your pool is full, we will do all the things necessary to get the pool running and to handover the pool to you, ready to swim:
- Start the filtration system and install your pool cleaner
- Place all the required chemicals, including salt, in the pool
- Give you instructions on how to operate the pool and the filtration
